Dr. James J. Zogby is the president of the Arab American Institute (AAI), which he founded in 1985 and is the Director of Zogby Research Services, a firm engaged in ground-breaking public opinion research across the Arab World. In 2013, he was appointed to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom by President Obama. He writes a weekly column that, since 1992, has appeared in newspapers in 14 Arab and South Asian countries. He is also the author of a number of books on Arab public opinion. Dr. Zogby received his doctorate in Islamic Studies from Temple University’s Department of Religion and later was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University.
